As The Print Room enters its fifth year, we plan to place more emphasis on future film photography exhibitions. These require gestation periods of several months if not longer, and as such we need to better schedule the use of our studio and darkroom facilities, giving priority to photographers working on exhibiting their next body of work.
The Print Room is, however, still a place of learning for anyone with an interest in learning film photography, so we will be continuing our classes. But to meet the scheduling demands of exhibition work and to help potential students plan their own schedules better, we will only be holding classes three times a year from this point on.
Each class is held over a period of three weekends. Please note that the next scheduled class will be held on Aug 15-16, 22-23 and 29-30. You can book your places now by emailing email@example.com or by contacting Paul at (012)337-2903.
Considering the new class schedule, we encourage you to sign up with a partner or with a group of friends as there will be a minimum requirement of students per class. Private classes can be scheduled if you register as a group of a minimum of four students.
We have always tried to accommodate the schedules of all interested parties as we understand many of you hold full-time jobs or have families or both; however, we can no longer afford to hold classes for just a handful of students at a time, or to make room for last-minute cancellations.
We thank you for your support, without which we would not have come as far as we have in the last four years. We look forward to continuing to meet and work with emerging talent, and to help develop an interest and appreciation for film photography in Malaysia and the region.
